All About French Pies & Tarts

ClassGraphic In this hands-on class, you'll unravel the secrets behind crafting a crispy, buttery and delicious pie and tart crust and make it perfect each and every time.   You will learn the foundation for a myriad of delightful fillings and discover a delicate balance of textures and seasonal flavors for both, sweet and savory masterpieces.  Our native French culinary instructor will guide you through a variety classic and contemporary French tart recipe. 

  • This one-time, 5-hour class will be held at the Plum Center,
  • Students will work with others in small groups.
  • The class has space for up to 12 people, so everyone gets a chance to learn and practice.
  • Be ready to stand, cook, and work during the class.
  • For your safety and comfort, please wear closed-toe shoes and tie back long hair.
  • Menu will depend on market seasonal availability of ingredients
  • During the class, you'll get to taste everything you make, and you'll also take some leftovers home to enjoy.
Please note that group classes are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not reached.
