If you’re seeking a career in the Electrical, Plumbing, or HVAC trades, FCPS ACE can help you get started with a certified Apprenticeship program and a $1,000 scholarship toward your classes.

Important Details:
 

• The Application window for Fall 2026 Trades Scholarships is June 15, 2026 through August 15, 2026.
  Applications submitted before June 15, 2026 or after August 15, 2026 will not be considered.
   
• Students must specify which Skilled Trade class through FCPS ACE they plan to take. Please see our Trades Apprenticeship courses to select a class and find the class details you will need.
   
• Please be sure to fill out the application completely. Applications using A.I. will be discarded.
   
• By applying, you acknowledge that there is no guarantee of a scholarship.
   
• By applying, you acknowledge that any scholarship which is awarded is for a specific class and for a specific date. If you withdraw from the class, the scholarship funds will be returned to the ACE Foundation for distribution to other qualified students, and in no instance will scholarship funds be paid out directly to any student.
   
• You are expected to pay all tuition and fees that exceed the awarded scholarship. Payment plans may be available.
   
•  It is the responsibility of the student to attend all class sessions.
