Electrical Program
The Electrical curriculum through FCPS ACE prepares learners for careers as skilled professionals in the electrical field. We emphasize workplace safety while covering applied electrical theory for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. National Electrical Code® is integrated throughout to ensure learners are prepared as competent journeyman electricians.
HVAC Program
FCPS ACE HVAC curriculum prepares learners for careers as skilled heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration mechanics and installers. Students learn the concepts technicians need to safely install, maintain, and troubleshoot HVACR systems. Basic sheet metal, welding, and pipefitting is also covered. Plumbers do much more than unclog drains and run pipes. Plumbers also design, install, and maintain water systems that move through municipal treatment plants before serving residential, commercial, and public buildings. The Plumbing curriculum through FCPS ACE covers the concepts technicians need to safely install, test, maintain, and repair many different types of pipe systems. It prepares learners for careers as skilled plumbers with instruction in math, drawings, code and other critical skills to ensure learners are set up for job success.
