Adult ESOL Classes Intake Testing and Registration Information

FCPS ACE offers a robust, affordable, in-person, Adult English language program for learners of all proficiency levels. Most classes run for a duration of nine weeks, on either morning intensive or evening non-intensive schedules, and are held at convenient locations throughout Fairfax County.
From basic English for beginners to advanced specialty courses for career advancement, FCPS ACE is your trusted source for community education and the skills you need to succeed.
At this time, Winter Courses are full and we cannot take new registrations.
Information for Spring Classes will be available here after March 1, 2026. Please check back after March 1st.
A complete listing of all ESOL language and specialty classes will be available on this site when spring testing and registration begins.
General Information about the Adult ESOL Program
All new students must take an intake test before registering for a class.
For New Student Intake testing
- Find the location where you want to study from the chart below.
- Choose the class schedule that is convenient for you.
- Go to the testing for that location and class time. No appointment is necessary. You must attend testing at the location and time you want classes.

Bring one original identification document to register. Staff will review your document before you can register. We will not make or keep a copy of your document.

FCPS Adult ESOL Program follows the guidelines of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), a federal law that protects the confidentiality of and access to learners’ personally identifiable information and education records. From entry at intake to your exit from our program, your individual information and records will always be kept confidential and secure unless you specifically authorize otherwise.
