Study Smarter, Not Harder: Academic Success Skills for Grades 7–12

Success in school isn't just about studying harder,  it's about studying smarter! In this engaging, hands-on course, students will learn practical strategies to improve organization, time management, note-taking, reading comprehension, memory, and test preparation. Through interactive activities, real-life scenarios, and collaborative challenges, participants will discover how to manage assignments, reduce procrastination, prepare effectively for quizzes and exams, and build confidence in their academic abilities.

Students will explore proven learning techniques, effective note-taking methods, and goal setting. They'll also learn how to organize digital and paper assignments, create personalized study schedules, use planners and productivity tools, and responsibly incorporate AI tools into their learning process. By the end of the course, each student will develop a personalized Academic Success Plan they can use throughout the school year.

This course is ideal for students entering middle or high school, those preparing for more rigorous coursework, or anyone looking to improve study habits and academic performance.
