Auto Body Repair and Refinishing

Get hands-on training in auto body repair with guidance from an experienced professional. You’ll learn how to fix dents (big and small), remove rust, replace and weld panels, straighten metal, apply plastic filler, refinish surfaces, and align panels correctly. Most students work on their own cars, but you can also buy a new or used fender to practice on. You’ll learn a lot by watching and helping others with their projects too. A materials fee covers shop supplies like filler, sandpaper, and paint. The class meets for 12 sessions, 4 hours each.
