Construction Project Coordinator

This construction project coordinator course is built around the skills used by professionals in both commercial and residential construction to help you gain experience in reading blueprints, selecting materials, creating schedules, preparing estimates, and managing projects. This construction management course emphasizes practical construction management training using applications like Procore, Bluebeam, and Smartsheet to help you gain strong management fundamentals and the software experience to coordinate projects across construction settings.

You will learn how to read commercial blueprints, evaluate construction materials and assemblies, and build professional schedules in Smartsheet. The course covers quantity takeoffs and cost estimates in Bluebeam, project management in Procore, and cloud-based project delivery with Autodesk Forma. You will also gain experience in coordinating jobsite logistics to prepare competitive bids and apply OSHA-based safety practices to build a foundation for long-term growth in the construction industry.

An optional capstone project allows you to bring your newly acquired skills together through a cumulative project focused on planning, scheduling, estimating, and coordination, while creating a portfolio piece that demonstrates your experience using industry software.

VDCI

This course is designed to be self-paced and does not involve any live classes. Instead, students will have access to various self-learning resources, including video materials, practice projects, e-books, and other materials available within the course modules. Although there is no direct interaction with an instructor, students can seek help from an industry expert by submitting questions via email.

• Storage: 5 GB available disk space
