This course covers essential vehicle control skills and driving in various settings, including residential, rural, city, and freeway environments. It also includes the administration of the DMV-approved road test. Students must present either a District-8 classroom course completion card or a concurrent enrollment form prior to their first Behind-the-Wheel (BTW) class. The course runs for seven days, with departures from most high schools. What to Bring to the First BTW Class: Valid Virginia Learner's Permit District-8 Classroom Course Completion Card or Concurrent Enrollment Form Online confirmation receipt or walk-in registration form (signed by a parent/guardian) Speak with your Driver Ed Instructor about TDL Issue/Pick-up procedures
