Learn how to make tasty jams and preserves at home with our fun hands-on class. We'll show you how to keep fruit flavors fresh and delicious all year round. Our teacher will teach you about the tools you need and how to get started with making your own preserves and jams. You'll learn how to prepare fruit, make jam thicker, and other important skills. We'll also show you easy ways to fill and seal jars, and a simple water-bath method. With these skills, you can make sweet or savory preserves for your family and friends or enjoy them yourself. No discount allowed.
  • This one-time, 5-hour class will be held at the Plum Center.
  • Students will work with others in small groups.
