MUST READ BEFORE REGISTERING!

This session is for Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) students only to take the Virginia DMV Learner’s Permit Test. An FCPS Student ID is required to participate.

Important Requirements:

1. Students must be at least 15 years and 6 months old on the day of the test.

2. Students must register in two places:

   • First, register on this site (the one you're currently on).

   • Then, you MUST also register with the DMV using this link:

3. IMPORTANT:

   • If you’ve had 2 unsuccessful attempts at the test, your 3rd attempt must be taken at the DMV, not through this program.

What to Bring on Test Day:

• A completed and signed DTS 41 consent form
  Download the DTS 41 Form (PDF)

• A photo ID to verify identity 

• An FCPS-issued laptop (if applicable)

• Headphones to listen to instructions and audio during the test

Session Length: 1 session @ 2 hours
