This online mechatronics course provides an intensive overview of the skills necessary for the mechatronics industry. You will learn math, inspection, safety, quality, electrical systems, automation, mechanical systems, fluid systems, rigging, and welding in mechatronics.

You will be given your own Meta Quest 3 VR Headset Kit (headset, two controllers, case, and Elite Strap) to complete 10 labs/simulations delivered through virtual reality (VR). Note: You have the option to complete the simulations online.

Upon course completion, you will not only have the training needed to begin a career in mechatronics but also be able to keep your Meta Quest 3 VR Headset Kit.

This is not an instructor facilitated course; however, support will be provided through email.

Requirements:

Hardware Requirements:

This course can be taken on either a PC or Mac.

Software Requirements:

PC: Windows 10 or later.
Mac: macOS 12 or later.
Browser: The latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox are preferred. Microsoft Edge and Safari are also compatible.
Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Software must be installed and fully operational before the course begins.

Other:

Email capabilities and access to a personal email account.

The instructional materials required for this course are included in enrollment and will be available online.

Material Fees are non-refundable upon registration.

Please note: Due to the high cost of the kit, it will not ship until 10 days after your start date. We are unable to deliver the kit to P.O. Boxes; you may be asked to provide an alternate shipping address for your delivery.
