Discover the ancient craft of weaving on a modern, accessible loom! The rigid heddle loom is perfect for beginners because it is compact, easy to set up, and incredibly versatile. In this hands-on, two-part workshop, you will learn the foundational mechanics of weaving from start to finish.

By the end of the course, you will understand how to dress (warp) your loom, weave with smooth and even tension, fix common mistakes, and finish your fabric. You will walk away with a beautiful, hand-woven sampler scarf and the confidence to start your own independent weaving projects.

Leslie Molnar - Grabowski  has been knitting and crocheting since the age of five, when her mom taught her. Leslie has taught knitting, crochet and sewing in yarn shops and privately. She particularly enjoys working with mother/daughter groups. She is also a French teacher for  Adult Ed classes.
