ASL 4
Expand your American Sign Language vocabulary and increase your signing speed and fluency. This course focuses on fingerspelling, sentence formation, and expressive communication through full sentences.
Course Format: 10 sessions, 2 hours per session
Materials and Technology:
  • Access to a computer with audio and video capabilities
  • A Gmail account to access the virtual class
  • Virtual students must purchase the required textbook before the course begins: A Basic Course in American Sign Language, ISBN 0-932666-42-6
Who Should Register:
This course is designed for independent, self-directed learners who are prepared to practice and complete activities outside of class.
Time Commitment:
Depending on their ability and interest, students should expect to spend approximately 2–3 additional hours per week completing class activities.
