You will receive a Meta Quest 3 headset, two controllers, a carrying case, and an Elite Strap, enhancing your learning experience through immersive virtual reality (VR) labs and simulations. While we offer 10 interactive VR labs, you also have the flexibility to complete simulations online if you prefer.
This machinist course provides an intensive overview of the skills necessary to perform manual machining. You will learn key competencies such as workholding, math, inspection, safety, machining, materials, quality, grinding, and assembly to work as a manual machinist.
Instructor(s):This is not an instructor facilitated course; however, support will be provided through email.

- This course can be taken on either a PC or Mac.
Software Requirements:
- PC: Windows 10 or later.
- Mac: macOS 12 or later.
- Browser: The latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox are preferred. Microsoft Edge and Safari are also compatible.
- Adobe Acrobat Reader.
- Software must be installed and fully operational before the course begins.
Other:
- Email capabilities and access to a personal email account.
