Celebrate the season by creating a bakery-quality holiday cake from start to finish in this festive three-session course. Designed for beginners and hobby bakers alike, this class combines essential baking techniques with hands-on decorating instruction. Students will learn how to bake moist seasonal flavored cake layers, prepare buttercream, fill and stack a cake, and decorate it with elegant holiday-inspired designs perfect for family gatherings and seasonal celebrations.
This 3-session, 3-hour class will be held at the Plum Center.
Class Format
- Demonstration and hands-on instruction
- Students will work in small groups during baking activities and complete decorating techniques on their own cakes.
- Class size is limited to 12 participants, ensuring plenty of individual guidance and practice.
- Be prepared to stand, bake, and decorate throughout each class.
For your safety and comfort, please bring an apron, wear closed-toe shoes, and tie back long hair.
Decorating supplies are not included. Please use the following Class Supply List to purchase supplies prior class.
