Electricians are skilled professionals who install and maintain electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments, ensuring compliance with state and local codes. This course is the third in a comprehensive four-level apprenticeship program aligned with DOLI standards and nationally accredited by NCCER. Level Three focuses on advanced topics including load calculations, conductor properties, lighting systems, hazardous locations, overcurrent protection, distribution equipment, transformers, commercial electrical services, motor calculations, voice/data/video systems, and motor controls.
Required textbook: Students must purchase digital or print textbook with NCCERConnect code from the NCCER bookstore and have a copy of the NEC 2020. Book Edition will be sent to students prior to class.
